Cross & Joftus has worked with Rogers Public Schools and the community for four years, conducting an in-depth needs analysis, developing a strategic plan with a group of community stakeholders, and monitoring implementation of the strategic plan. Throughout, the Cross & Joftus consultants have provided invaluable guidance and support, pushed the school system to improve, helped to keep the district leadership and community focused, and worked collaboratively to ensure buy-in and support.

Is your organization looking to enhance focus and direction for its education improvement efforts? We help education leaders and organizations chart a new course by embracing a shared vision, identifying measurable goals and benchmarks, and crafting practical strategies for achieving desired outcomes. With our guidance, our clients are encouraged to plan and pursue initiatives to effect positive changes in education.
Cross & Joftus has worked with many organizations—including the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, the California Department of Education, and Education Commission of the States — looking to better define who they are, what they hope to positively change or affect in the field of education, and how they want to do it. We begin the strategic planning process by understanding the environment in which your organization works. We research similar organizations, interview key stakeholders, and assess the local policy and programmatic landscape. This external environmental review informs an in-depth needs analysis of the organization that identifies strengths and weaknesses and provides recommendations for how to meet organizational goals more effectively. Our recommendations reflect the client’s budget, timing, stakeholder support, and political climate. In addition, we help develop an implementation timeline as well as technical support and communication plans.
